In order for interns to receive academic credit, they will be required to present their work to an audience comprised of the course professor and other student interns. The written and oral reports can be approved and edited by their corporate mentor prior to presentation.
Company mentors are asked to help the intern with the reports, and to provide necessary background information for oral presentations.
Learning Agreement
For the student to enroll, the Learning Agreement must be completed and submitted on-line prior to the internship start date.
A Learning Agreement must be submitted for both Winter and Spring quarters, even though the project may be the same.
If at any time there is a significant change in the intern's original project assignment a revised Learning Agreement must be submitted for approval.
Intern Evaluation
For the student to receive credit for the internship, the on-line evaluation must
be completed ten weeks from the beginning of the internship.
Compensation
No compensation can be paid to interns during Winter and Spring quarters
Interns may not exceed 14 hours/per week nor be compensated for additional
hours worked.
